Qualifications:
- A Degree in Physical Science or Engineering (Mechanical) or any other degree relevant to the subject area which is recognized by the U.G.C.
- A minimum of one year post qualifying experience in the relevant field to the Post, after obtaining the first degree.
- Having obtained a certificate of proficiency not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level - 7 in Mechanical / Automobile / in a related field
- A minimum of one year post qualifying experience in Public Service, a Corporation, Statutory Board/ Institution or a reputed Private Institution.
- Having obtained a proficiency certificate in relevant subject, not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level - 5 in Mechanical / Automobile / Machinery Operation in a related field
- Diploma level educational qualification in a Business Administration, Marketing or related field (Not below than NVQ Level - 05)
- Having passed the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in Commerce stream with any Certificate level qualification in Marketing or Sales
- 03 years experience in the relevant field from reputed Organization / Company
- Having obtained proficiency certificate not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level - four (04) in Mechanical / Automobile / in a related field
- Having obtained proficiency certificate not below than the National Vocational Qualification Level - four (04) in welding or in a related field
- Having passed six (06) subjects in G.C.E (O/L) examination, at least with two (02) credit passes in maximum of two sittings.
- Having obtained the heavy vehicle license issued by the Commissioner General, Department of Motor Traffic
- A minimum of three (03) years experience in driving after obtaining the driving license.
- Every applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the Island
- Should be of excellent moral character.
Age Limit:
Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years (Plant Manager: Not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years)
