- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with 6 subjects in one sitting
- An IT qualification acceptable to the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon
- Minimum 01 year of experience in laboratory work (preferred)

- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer literacy
